The "Terms and Conditions" settings provides options to manage how terms of service agreements are presented and accepted on your website.
Below is the detailed documentation of each setting available within this section:
Shortcode:
[njt_gdpr_term]: This shortcode is designed to be placed on your existing Terms and Conditions page to integrate an accept button, facilitating your users to agree to the terms directly from the page.
Term page:
Dropdown: This allows you to select a specific page that has been designated as the Terms and Conditions page of the site.
Page to redirect to after Term is accepted:
Dropdown: This allows you to set a specific page to redirect users to after they have accepted the terms. The default setting is "None," indicating there will be no redirection upon acceptance.
Set consent expire time (days):
Input Field: Helps you define the duration in days after which the acceptance of the terms will expire, requiring users to accept them again. The default period is set to 365 days.
Require logged in users to accept Term (redirect):
Toggle Switch: When turned ON, this setting mandates that logged-in users must accept the terms and conditions, possibly involving a redirection to the terms page.
Require not logged in users/guests to accept Term (redirect):
Toggle Switch: It requires guests or not logged in users to accept the terms and conditions, which might involve redirection to the terms page.
