The "Privacy Policy" settings in the Ninja GDPR plugin allows you to manage how your privacy policy is implemented and how your user consents are handled.
Here is a detailed documentation of each setting available in this section:
Shortcode:
[njt_gdpr_policy]: This shortcode can be placed on your privacy policy page to add an accept button, enabling users to directly accept the privacy policy from the page.
Privacy Policy page:
Dropdown: Allows you to select the page from your website that serves as the Privacy Policy page.
Page to redirect to after Privacy Policy is accepted:
Dropdown: You can choose a page to redirect users to after they accept the privacy policy. The default setting is "None," which means there will be no redirection after acceptance.
Set consent expire time (days):
Input Field: Specifies the number of days after which the consent will expire, requiring re-acceptance from the user. The default setting is 365 days.
Require logged in users to accept Privacy Policy (redirect):
Toggle Switch: If turned ON, logged-in users are required to accept the privacy policy, potentially involving a redirection to the privacy policy page.
Require not logged in users/guests to accept Privacy Policy (redirect):
Toggle Switch: If enabled, it would require guests or users who are not logged in to accept the privacy policy, which could involve redirection to the policy page.
Redirect to Privacy Policy first (if Terms and Conditions also redirect):
Toggle Switch: This is ON, meaning if both the privacy policy and terms and conditions require acceptance, users will be redirected to the privacy policy page first.
Accepted Message:
Text Field: This field allows you to customize the message displayed to users after they have accepted the privacy policy. The default message is "You've accepted the Privacy Policy."
