# Introduction

FastDup is a WordPress plugin that gives you the ability to duplicate a WordPress installation completely in just a few clicks of a button from one server to another. This plugin makes it very easy to duplicate a whole website within a few seconds because of its really simple, nice and very straight forward user interface.

Instead of manually exporting a database, zipping files, and configuring a new install by hand, FastDup packages your whole site into two files and walks you through deploying them on the destination server with a guided installer.

What you can do with FastDup:

* Duplicate a live site to a new host or domain
* Clone a site to build a staging copy for safe testing
* Package a site as a reusable starter template for new projects
* Create a full snapshot before a risky update
