On July 1, 2023, Universal Analytics properties will stop processing new hits. If you still rely on Universal Analytics, we recommend that you complete your move to Google Analytics 4.

Now's the time to

Given that you have set up Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel on your WordPress website, then you can enable WhatsApp event tracking.

From your admin dashboard, go to WhatsApp > Settings > open Analytics tab. Here you can enable one or both of the options:

  • Google Analytics

  • Facebook Pixel

View WhatsApp event actions in Google Analytics

From your Analytics dashboard, go to Realtime > Events to see the recent interactions via WhatsApp click to chat at the moment.

In order to see the full report in a time range, go to Behavior > Events, set the date range, and then you can get insightful events and event value reports.

View WhatsApp events in Facebook Business

From your Facebook Business dashboard, go to Events Manager > Data Sources to access the WhatsApp events recorded in your Facebook Pixel.
