To replace an existing file in your WordPress site using the Filester - WordPress File Manager Pro plugin, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access the File Manager

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click on "File Manager" to open the Filester interface.

Step 2: Locate the File to Replace

  1. Navigate to the folder where the file you want to replace is located. For example, if the file is in the uploads directory, expand the folder structure until you find the correct file.

Step 3: Prepare the Replacement File

  1. Ensure the file on your computer that you intend to upload has the exact same name as the file you want to replace on the site.

Step 4: Upload the Replacement File

  1. Click the upload icon at the top of the Filester interface (represented by an upward-pointing arrow).

  2. Alternatively, right-click inside the folder and select "Upload files" from the context menu.

Step 5: Confirm File Replacement

  1. After selecting the file to upload, Filester will detect that a file with the same name already exists.

  2. A dialog box will appear, asking if you want to replace the existing file.

  3. Click "Yes" to confirm the replacement.
