# Backup

We’re thrilled to bring you an exciting update to the FileBird plugin—the Backup feature! Now, FileBird automatically backs up your media library every 12 hours, ensuring your files are always safe and secure. For added flexibility, you can also initiate a backup manually at any time by simply clicking the Backup Now button.

To keep things efficient, FileBird saves the last 30 backup records, with older records automatically being deleted. This ensures your backups stay up-to-date while optimizing storage space.

With this new feature, you can rest easy knowing that your media files are protected and easily recoverable whenever you need them. Stay organized, stay backed up!
