# How to Download Folders and Files

This is a feature which allows you to bulk download your files and folder trees directly to your desktop in a **ZIP file**!

This is useful if you need to keep a back up of your library arrangement or if you want to download and upload the same arrangement to another website using the [FileBird's Upload Function](https://ninjateam.gitbook.io/filebird/features/filebird-library-left-section/how-to-upload-folders-and-files).
